At Wink Optical we love what we do and we’re having fun.  Our clientele finds us engaging, genuine and knowledgeable regarding the fashion, style and usability of their eyewear.  Wink is absolutely obsessed with each customer’s clear vision, appearance and satisfaction because 20/happy is even better than 20/20.  Our knowledgeable doctors know that your real world visual experience sometimes differs from the exam room results, which is why we use experience, investigation and analysis to determine your needs beyond what the equipment is telling us.  The Docs then communicate your individual desires discussed during your exam to our opticians.  This information hand off is crucial to us identifying the appropriate selection of frames and lenses for you and your lifestyle.  It is much more involved than whether or not the frame fits the bridge of your nose.

From the moment you step into our locally owned and operated shop which reflects distinctive style and created from eco-friendly materials (we look more spa than doctor’s office) you’ll notice the friendly staff and fashionable eyewear. Truly you have never been in a doctor’s office like this.  In fact, our environmentally friendly business  was featured in a national optical magazine.  Once you’re in the exam room you’ll know immediately that you are receiving the most advanced eye care available.  The process begins with the Doctor asking a simple question: why are you here to see me today?  Indeed our doctors have the experience to know that listening is one of their most powerful instruments in their medical bag.  Once questions are asked and needs determined Wink has invested in the most state of the art equipment available which render precise refractions so you’ll the world as well as it sees you. 

Exams are available six days a week.   Our Docs take a very consultative approach to your exam ensuring you fully understand the whys and what’s of your eye health.  The combination of our Doctors use of advanced equipment, expertise and patience provide the most accurate prescription you’ve ever had.  And that’s just the eye exam.

Whether you are shopping for frames or contact lenses let us find your perfect fit.  We take into account your personal circumstances including your lifestyle, job, hobbies, personal style and habits to select the ideal frame and optics combination for you.  With our on-site, digitized lens edger we can ensure that we get you into beautiful, precision eyewear.

Scheduling Exams

Wink works hard to take the stress out of eye exams and frame selection.  First timers especially can have some dread about wearing eyeglasses and our relaxed and playful approach puts them at ease.  In fact, many clients comment on how much fun they have had. Contact lens exams are required yearly by Colorado State law.  Additionally, the Doc recommends that those over 50 who wear eyeglass get their eyes examined every year to check age-related eye health issues.   Those under 50 should get check ups every other year or whenever you experience any discomfort or blurring of vision.
